    DJI Mavic Pro Platinum Announcement

Today DJI has presented a new version of the Mavik Pro model, presented a little more than a year ago. This model has practically killed the GoPro's dreams of conquering this segment of the market.

Mavik Pro Platinum, as it is the full name of the model,is supposed to be a little quieter and more efficient than its basic version. It is also supposed to be closed in the same compact folding platinum housing.

The new Mavik, just like its predecessor, has the dimensions of 83x83x198mm and it is equipped with a new rechargeable battery, which is 11% more efficient than its predecessor's. The maximum flight time is now ca. 30 minutes, but it, of course, depends on the conditions.

A 3-axis gimbal with 12-million 1/2.3'' sensor and the lens having the equivalent of 28mm and f/2.2 is responsible for image recording. The set will enable us to record films in 4K, within the ISO range of 100-3200, with the maximum speed of 30 f/s, and in Full HD, with the speed of 60f/s. We will also be able to record slow-motion films in HD 720p with the speed of 120 fps.

The drone is also equipped with sensors detecting obstacles, and its maximum speed is now 65 km/h.

The presented Zenmuse X7 camera has been designed having in mind Inspire 2 drone, which is to enable the highest image quality in this class of equipment. We can also expect that the company will introduce a specially adapted gimbal for this camera.

The heart of the camera is the Super 35mm sensor, which is supposed to have a wide dynamic range amounting to 14EV, thanks to which the camera will work perfectly in highly contrastive conditions.
