Fujifilm has added a new stabilized tele-lens, Fujinon GF 100-200 mm f/5.6 R LM OIS WR to its offer. The lens has been designed having in mind nature photographers and it is the first such a compact and resistant construction which should fulfil the requirements of nature and landscape photographers.
The optical system of the lens consists of 20 elements placed in 13 groups. Among them there are two Extra Low Dispersion elements and an aspherical one. Of course, the lens is equipped with image stabilization and a 9-blade aperture with a nominal hole of f/5.6, which can be closed up to f/32.

The presented lens is also to provide extraordinary achievements when it comes to the speed of focusing. The new Fujifilm tele-zoom applies a linear AF motor, which is supposed to be quiet, precise and fast.

The whole construction has the dimensions of 183 × 90mm and it weighs 1050g. Similarly to the whole series of GF lenses, it is made of magnesium. The whole body has been sealed against weather conditions and dust.
