    GoPro Fusion Announcement

      News

For some time, we've had leaks that GoPro has been working on the 360 degree camera and today it had its premiere in San Francisco.

GoPro Fusion 360-degree VR is a device which has huge chances of popularizing 360 degree cameras,  mostly thanks to their functions.

The camera's specification is really impressive. Six onboard cameras can capture VR and non-VR in 5.2K resolution, with 360-degree audio. The camera is equipped with the over capture function, which enables software image stabilization and making ordinary photographs from spherical images.

In addition, we will have Fusion Studio app, which will enable various ways of editing spherical images and movies.

Apart from the Fusion spherical camera, GoPro has also presented the newest version of the Hero6 Black camera, which, despite its unchanged look, has much greater efficiency now.

The new model enables recording videos in 4K with the speed of 60f/s as well as recording movies in Full HD 1080p in slow motion, with the speed of 240f/s. Additionally, the dynamic range has been improved. We also get a higher quality of the images in low light and a new color profile.

      1). GoPro Hero6

The camera has a 12Mp sensor, known from the previous model, which takes photographs in JPG and RAW. The sensor stabilization is even more effective than in Hero5. The camera works under GP1 processor, which has been designed by GoPro. Thanks to the new processor, the data transfer is 3 times faster.

      2). GoPro Hero6

GoPro Hero6 is equipped with a more efficient touchscreen, 3x digital zoom with gesture control and an improved function of voice control, which now recognizes 10 languages. At our disposal there is also GPS, accelerometer, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The very design and dimensions of the camera have remained the same, which means that the camera is compatible with GoPro mounts and Karma drone. Of course, the housing is also waterproof. As the producer assures, we can immerse the camera up to 10 metres – without the need to use any additional accessories.
