At the CES fairs, Nikon has announced that a special Nikon Z 6 Filmmaker's Kit will appear on sale at the end of January. The kit will include Nikon Z 6 with the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens, FTZ adapter, Atomos Ninja V recorder, Moza Air 2 gimbal, Rode VideoMic Pro+ and the additional battery as well as a few less necessary accessories.
The whole set will cost $4,000 and, according to the producer's calculations, by buying the whole set we will save $1200. Still, according to our calculations, we will save at most $650 but if we don't need Vimeo Pro Plan - only $430.

1). Nikon Z 6 Filmmaker's Kit
What's more, Nikon has announced that the expansion of the compatibility of new Z 6 and Z 7 bodies by the support for CFexpress cards (the successor of the XQD format), which have been announced for around 2 years, should soon appear on the consumer market. There are also works on the Eye AF function, namely eye-detection and a possibility of video recording in the ProRes RAW codec. This option will be a available only in the case of the external recorder, Atomos Ninja V.
2). Nikon Z 6 with Rode VideoMic Pro Plus
As for now, we don't know when the firmware which should enable enriching the camera by the mentioned functions, will appear on sale. Still, we can expect that it will take a few months.
