The lovers of extreme sports and holiday explorers had to wait 3 years for the new Panasonic device, with the use of  which they would be able to record their great discoveries and sports achievements. The successor of FT6Panasonic Lumix DC-FT7, has just appeared on the market.

The main features of FT7 are its shock and water immersion resistance. The camera can be immersed up to 31m and it should remain undamaged after falling onto the hard surface from 2m. The device should also work properly in the temperature of -10°C.

Panasonic FT7 has been equipped with the 1/2.3'' MOS sensor, with the resolution of 20.4MP. The strengthened waterproof construction of the camera has possibly made the designers use a rather unimpressive f/3.3-5.9 lens with the zoom with the equivalent of 28 - 128mm. We will also not be able to save RAW photographs.

For the first time, Panasonic used an in-built electronic viewfinder in such a device. It has the resolution of 1.17 Mp and the image can be zoomed up to 0.45×.  The camera is equipped with a classic 3'' LCD screen (not a touch one). Some of the other functions include 49-point  phase-detection autofocus and a possibility of recording films in 4K with the speed of 24f/s. The frame rate can be increased by reducing the resolution of the recorded film - in the case of 1080 up to 30f/s, and in the case of 720p up to 120f/s, which can be played in 4× slow motion.

The original '4K Photo' mode enables the 'extraction' of individual frames from the registered 4K material. They have the resolution of 8MP. The continuous shooting mode can work with the speed of 10f/s. The camera is equipped with the flash and LED diode, which can be helpful in recording videos and which can be used as a flashlight.

The camera is equipped with a 16MP Live MOS sensor, without a low pass filter. Image processing is done by the Venus Engine image processor, thanks to which we can take photos with the speed up to 5.8 fps with 200-25600 sensitivity.

The camera is equipped with a touch screen (resolution – 3'') which can be folded 180 degrees upwards. Thanks to this, it'll serve its function both in making photos and making selfie movies. The self-portait mode and a possibility of recording 4K videos should also be useful in that.

      2). Panasonic Lumix GX800

The phase detection autofocus supported by DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology is responsible for adjusting the focus.

      3). Panasonic Lumix GX800

With the new Panasonic GX800 we can also record movies in QFHD 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels) resolution as well as use advanced recording functions, such as Focus Stacking, Post Focus or Light Composition.

      4). Panasonic Lumix GX800

Panasonic Lumix GX800 will be available in 4 color versions: silver, black, orange, and black-and-tan. It will be on sale in February 2017 with a f/3.5-5.6 12-32mm lens. The whole set will cost $550.

Panasonic Lumix GH5 is is the new incarnation of the legendary and top-rated ILCs of this producer. Camera presented during Photokina 2016 fair finally had its premiere, during which more detailed data was presented.

The camera is equipped with a 20.3MP Live MOS image sensor without the dynamic low pass filter, which supports the new image processor Venus Engine that similarly to its predecessor, makes it possible to take photos with 200-25600 sensitivity and the possibility of extending iso to 100.

The new processor is also responsible for improving the camera's performance. GH5 takes photos with the maximum speed of 9 frames per second with the full support of autofocus and 12 frames per second in the single mode. The buffer can hold even 100 RAW images.

      1). Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5

Panasonic Lumix GH5 is a bit bigger than its previous version and it's equipped with an electronic viewfinder with a 3.68MP resolution and 0.76× magnification. The rotating touch screen has also undergone some improvements. It's bigger (3.2 inch) and its definition is higher (1.62 Mp). Also, on the back of GH5, there's now a joystick controller that can be used to select the AF.

      2). Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5

Probably, the most awaited solution in the new Panasonic is Dual I.S. 2 - a 5-axis inbody sensor stabilization and 2-axis stabilization in particular lenses. According to information provided by the producer, it can increase the exposure value even by 5EV. A precise gyro sensor in GH5 camera controls the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and In Body Image Stabilization (BIS). It's done by the analysis of focus and the conditions for photographing.

      3). Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5

Panasonic GH5 is equipped with phase detection autofocus supported by DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology. Thanks to Venus Engine image processor it's able to process digital signals with the speed up to 480fps. Also, GH5 uses a motion sensor that predicts the movements of the photographed object so there's a big chance that Panasonic GH5 will do better tracking moving objects that its older brother.

      4). Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5

What's more, GH5 has an increased number of focus from 49 to 225 and we now have the possibility of adjusting the autofocus to the shooting mode.

However, to the fore come the filming possibilities. GH5 is the first mirrorless interchangeable lens camera on the market to offer recording a 4K video at the speed of 60 fps and 10 bit 4:2:2 All-Intra subsampling. What's most important, there's a full sensor readout feature thanks to which we won't have to worry about the cropping factor. We will be able to record in FHD 1080p with the speed up to 1800fps.

      5). Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5

Finally we also get two SD (UHS-II) card inputs, and filmmakers will also enjoy a standard size HDMI port. The more advanced videomakers should be happy about the fact that you can also purchase a microphone adapter with two XML inputs and phantom power. The device will communicate with the body without using external cables. A dedicated grip for a body can also be purchased. The camera, as would be expected in the case of a flagship camera, is made entirely of magnesium and it's sealed. The camera will appear on the market at the end of March, and it will cost $1999 for a body.
