Panasonic Lumix GX800 – a treat for all lovers of functional, compact, and stylish cameras – also had its premiere today.
The camera is equipped with a 16MP Live MOS sensor, without a low pass filter. Image processing is done by the Venus Engine image processor, thanks to which we can take photos with the speed up to 5.8 fps with 200-25600 sensitivity.

The camera is equipped with a touch screen (resolution – 3'') which can be folded 180 degrees upwards. Thanks to this, it'll serve its function both in making photos and making selfie movies. The self-portait mode and a possibility of recording 4K videos should also be useful in that.

The phase detection autofocus supported by DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology is responsible for adjusting the focus.

With the new Panasonic GX800 we can also record movies in QFHD 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels) resolution as well as use advanced recording functions, such as Focus Stacking, Post Focus or Light Composition.

Panasonic Lumix GX800 will be available in 4 color versions: silver, black, orange, and black-and-tan. It will be on sale in February 2017 with a f/3.5-5.6 12-32mm lens. The whole set will cost $550.
