Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 is successor of the, presented in 2012, Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lens. Today, a new Tamron lens had its official premiere.

In the latest version, Tamron improved the stabilisation system which is to be characterised by the efficiency up to 5 EV, and additionally has 3 operating modes. The autofocus has also been improved – it is to be better and more precise even in faint light. The minimum focus distance has also decreased to 0.95m.
2). Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 - Image Stabilization Module
The lens consists of 23 elements, placed in 17 groups. One of the lenses is an XLD lens, with a remarkably low dispersion and 5 LD glasses. The lens is to be characterised by high resolution and higher contrast in order to better cooperate with the high resolution sensors.

The zoom ring, as in the case of the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR, has been moved to the front of the body for better balance. The body also cooperates with the Tamron TAP-in Console and the TC-X14 and TC-X20 converters.

The lens will be on sale on the American market in February, and it will cost $1300.
