Half the file size, similar image quality, double the buffer & the ability to use cheaper SD cards! On paper compressed RAW is a clear winner for Sony & Canon. So should we all just be using cRAW or is there some hidden disadvantage? What about the difference between 12 bit and 14 bit RAW files? And what happens when we use 12 bit RAWs and compressed RAW.
