Welcome to our first video!
The first off the line and in essence, the pilot, is ‘The Pond’ – Just two chums- Geraint Radford and Rob Cottle- visiting a large pond, somewhere in South Wales, to drink coffee, eat biscuits, talk nonsense and sometimes point a camera at a critter. Now this could easily be a park or maybe a Wetland centre or if you happen to be an Oligarch with a lawn the size of Chelsea, your house. Adding a water feature to your garden will bring so much life and photographic potential, even a good-sized lined pot can house something like water iris and a few bog plants bringing with them all manner of bugs and where there’s bugs, there’s birds. There is so much going on even in the smallest of places, have a rummage, keep an eye out and capture nature in all it’s glory and if you don’t get what you want, just enjoy the day, surrounded by the best kind of life and know you’ve just practised a little more.
Gear used:
Geraint: OMSYSTEM OM-1 with 60mm f/2.8 macro, Olympus F1900r with Cygnustech diffuser
Rob: OMSYSTEM OM-1 with 150-400mm f/2.8
Video gear: EM1 mk3 12-40mm f/2.8 and 40-150mm f/2.8, rode wireless
