  2. Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/1.4 is yet another Zeiss lens which enlarges the series of manual lenses intended to be used with full-frame Nikon and Canon cameras. Professional Milvus family are designed to work without any problems with the cameras having high resolution sensors. Inside the new 35 model, we will find 14 optical elements placed in 11 groups, including 5 lenses made of special glass and one aspherical element. Such an advanced optical system should translate into the above-average image resolution, high contrast and proper color transfer. Thanks to the use of special elements, chromatic aberration is almost non-existent in this lens. What's more, due to anti-reflection coatings, the lens should fulfill its role perfectly in the contrasting lighting conditions. 1). Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/1.4 Thanks to f/1.4 aperture, we will be able to successfully separate a photographed object of its background and achieve bokeh as well as the malleable blur of out-of-focus parts. The minimum focus distance is 30 cm. The advanced optical system has been enclosed in the tube made of metal, which is additionally sealed against the influence of weather conditions. 2). Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/1.4 will be available on sale with Nikon and Canon mounts already in July this year. It will cost around $2000.

  11. Arsenal is the newest device presented by an engineer and photographer, Ryan Stout. It uses artificial intelligence to automatically choose proper parameters of exposure and take a perfect photograph, even in the hardest lighting conditions. The device consists of a special transmitter which is to be mounted on a hot shoe of the flashes and is to be connected with the camera via USB connector. The second part is the application (available for iOS and Android) which is based on the technology using artificial intelligence. Arsenal will choose the best parameters for a given situation, scene and weather conditions, having previously analyzed hundreds of thousands of similar frames and existing photographs. 1). Arsenal Despite appearances, the controversial device is not only dedicated for beginners who, theoretically, will not have to get into the secrets of photographic techniques. It will surely prove useful also for more advanced photographers and professionals. Arsenal enables us to, for instance, create time-lapses and see their previews while recording. We can also use the photostacking function already at the stage of taking photographs. We can also send photos to various social media from the level of the application. 2). Arsenal After Arsenal became a hit on Kickstarter, exceeding the assumed sum 30 times, we can expect that it will end up as part of many photographers' equipment. However, in order to test it thoroughly, we will have to wait until the next year since it is then that we can expect the first deliveries, according to the constructor. If the idea of this device is appealing to you, you can buy it for around $150 here.

  13. 1957 was a year when the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union was relocated from Earth to the outer space. In order to do that, Americans established a space agency (NASA) which was to enable us to become the leaders of space exploration. Unfortunately, the Soviet Union was the first one to send Sputnik into a low Earth orbit, making it at the same time the first satellite. The next great success was also the one of the Soviet Union – it was sending the first man, Yuri Gagarin, into the outer space. In 1961, President Kennedy promised that until the end of the decade the United States would send an American astronaut to the Moon and let him safely come back, and in this way they would become the leader of the race, which they finally managed to do. During the Apollo Missions, NASA took hundreds of thousands of photographs and audio files which were published by the government on the websites and in September 2015. Two Austrians, Christian Stangl and his brother Wolfgang Stangl (who is a composer) used these photos (yes!) and audio files in order to create possibly the most beautiful short film from this expedition to the Moon that I've ever seen. Christian used panoramic stitching (several photographs which were taken in sequences) and stop motion sequences (photographs in which the camera is moving) and, as a result, created something which looks like an animated collage. It took him 18 months.
  14. Back on March 8 Sony Alpha Rumors published post an A9 and A9r (or A7rIII) rumor from a reliable source. The A9 info he shared proved to be correct. This means his info about the A9r or A7rII shared BEFORE the A9 launch is correct too: The camera under development seems to have 2 models. One is high-resolution model around 60-70MP, and the other is super high-performance AF, super high speed continuous shooting, and super high ISO sensitivity model. (SAR note: One is obviously the new A9 and one is the new A7rIII or A9r). The first model to be released will be the low rez and super high-performance AF camera Now they got informations from trusted source confirmed those informations: The new A7rIII (or A9r) will have more Megapixels than the A7rII (probably around 60 MP) Will not be released soon (not within 3-4 months).
