  1. The description of DJI Osmo Pocket may cause some problems since although we've already discussed many gimbals and sports cameras, we've never dealt with these two devices being permanently connected. That's why we're entering the unknown territory and it remains a mystery whether DJI's idea will find its regular place on the market and whether we will find similar devices from other producers. DJI Osmo Pocket is a small (12cm) 3-axis gimbal with a fixed sports camera, which is equipped with the 1/2.3'' 12MP sensor. With the use of it, we will be able to record films in 4K with the speed of 60f/s (100Mbps). Slow motion films will be recorded with the speed of 120f/s in Full HD. The camera is equipped with two microphones – one at the bottom of the device and one at the back. Recording sound is supported by the vibration and disruption reduction system. 1). DJI Osmo Pocket On the gimbal, we will find a 1'' screen with the use of which we can control the device. Still, full control over the device can be achieved thanks to a smartphone with the DJI Mimo application, connected to the USB-C port. The most interesting film modes of Osmo Pocket include Active Track (the mode of tracking an object which is moving within a frame) and Face Track (the mode of maintaining the sharpness of the filmed face). This is, of course, not everything – we also have Timelapse, Motionlapse, FPV Mode and Panorama modes. The Osmo Pocket users will be able to use additional Story Mode and Pro Mode functions on the smartphone's screen. The Story Mode consists of 10 templates with pre-programmed camera movement. When the recording ends, the mode autonomously creates a ready video sequence of the templates. The Pro Mode gives the user full control over the film settings. 2). DJI Osmo Pocket DJI Osmo Pocket has an in-built rechargeable battery which, according to the producer, should last for 2 hours of continuous recording in 4K. Osmo Pocket, as the very name suggests, may be put in a pocket since its dimensions are 121.9 × 28.6 × 36.9mm and it weighs 116g. The device is already available on sale and it costs $350. DJI has also presented a series of accessories which expand the possibilities of the device. They can be found on the website: dji.com.
