This model is equipped with the latest image processor which is to ensure the highest quality and better color reproduction. Inside X-T3, we will find the sensor of the fourth generation which, as the producer stresses, has been constructed from the very basics. The new X-Trans CMOS APS-C sensor with the resolution of 26MP does not have a low-pass filter and, for the first time in the history of the X series, has BSI (back-illuminated structure), which is to improve the general quality of photographs and not negatively influence the signal-noise ratio during taking photographs within higher sensitivity ranges. X-T3 now ensures the lowest native value of ISO 160 which has previously been available only within the extended range. Therefore, now we will be able to take photographs within the ISO range of 160 - 12800. X-T3 is also equipped with the latest version of X-Processor 4 image processor, which has four CPU cores. The improved efficiency can be felt while taking action photographs. The new X-T3 takes photos with the speed of 11f/s (mechanical shutter, around 36 uncompressed RAW photographs in a series), which is a significant improvement. The predecessor ensured 8f/s in a normal mode and 11f/s with the dedicated grip. With the use of the electronic shutter, we will be able to record in full resolution with the speed of 20f/s. By activating the Sports Finder function, we may take photographs with the speed of up to 30f/s, but in this case we will have to deal with the 1.25× crop, which will be marked with bright lines in the viewfinder. The new sensor has 2.16MP phase-detection pixels - 4 times more in comparison to the current models. By covering nearly the whole frame (around 100%), the AF is to adjust focus on the objects beyond the center of the frame quickly and precisely. We have 425 focus points to choose from. When it comes to the videos, the new X-T3 enables 10-bit recording on SD cards in 4K with the speed of 60f/s and sending signal by HDMI. The supported video formats include a commonly-used H.264/MPEG-4 AVC standard and the H.265/HEVC mode ensuring higher data compression. It provides high 200Mbps bit rate while recording. We also have a possibility of recording F-Log video materials. The body of Fujifilm X-T3 is made of magnesium and it is sealed. The screen has the resolution of 1.04MP and it has touch functions. The electronic viewfinder with the resolution of 3.69MP and the 0.75× zoom has also been significantly improved. What's more, the delay time of the screen amounts to 0.005s, which at the refresh rate of 100f/s should ensure smooth display of movement and enable precise identification of objects and focus points. The greater speed of data reading from the sensor and a high processing speed enable using the tracking AF without image blackout in the viewfinder at continuous shooting. Of course, we also have two SD card slots. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable quick pairing of the camera and the mobile device. On the body, we will also find the USB-C connector and the headphone connector, which should make it possible to directly connect accessories used during recording, for example microphones or HDMI devices. In addition, we can now block the dioptrie regulation. Fujifilm has also not forgotten about improving software. "Monochromatic regulation" has been added to the photographic film simulation mode. It is based on the producer's own technology and enables obtaining diverse color expression. The function is available in the standard "monochromatic" mode and the "ACROS" mode which ensure smoother transitions in semitones, deeper blackness and beautiful mapping of the surface texture. Besides that, until now the "Color Chrome“ effect has been available in the medium-format GFX50S camera and now it enters the X series for the first time. The effect ensures deeper colors and richer color grading in the case of high-saturated objects. PHOTOS OF THE FUJIFILM X-T3

    Fujifilm X-T3 Announcement

The mirrorless Fujifilm X-T3 camera in its third version can boast about the 26MP sensor, an improved AF, a more effective processor, an advanced movie mode and improved ergonomics. Will it still set trends? Let's see! The heart of X-T3 is the fourth-generation sensor called X-Trans CMOS APS-C, which has been specially designed from the basics for this particular model. It has the resolution of 26MP and it is not equipped with a low-pass filter. Still, it is the first Fujifilm camera from the X series which has BSI (back-illuminated structure), thanks to which the camera should work better while taking photographs in higher sensitivity ranges. The ISO range is 160-1280 and it can be extended to ISO 80, 100, 125, 25600 and 51200. 1). Fujifilm X-T3 Unfortunately, unlike in X-H1, the presented camera is not equipped with the in-built image stabilization. The image processor of X-T3 is X-Processor 4, it is equipped with four cores and, according to the producer, it is to ensure an increase in the speed of data processing by one third, in comparison to the predecessors. X-T3 has a mechanical shutter and it can work with the speed of 11f/s. The series can include around 36 uncompressed RAW photographs. After choosing the electronic shutter, the speed can exceed to 20 f/s in full resolution and after the activation of Sports Finder function, we can save photographs with the speed of 30f/s. With the use of the Sports Finder function, images can be cut up to 1.25x, which will be distinguished by bright lines on the viewfinder. 2). Fujifilm X-T3 The producer's priority was improving the work of AF. The new sensor is equipped with 2.16 millions of phase-detection pixels, which results in the 4x increase in comparison to the present models. The detection involves almost 100% of the frame, thanks to which the AF is supposed to work in a quick and precise way, also with regard to the objects beyond the center of the frame. AF X-T3 is equipped with 425 points. In low light conditions, X-T3 achieves the effectiveness of 3EV. 3). Fujifilm X-T3 + XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS Thanks to the use of the effective X-Processor 4, the operation of phase-detection algorithms was improved - now the camera corrects sharpness and exposure measure 1.5x faster than the existing models of this producer. Face and eye detection in AF-C was also improved. A novelty is the function of the “initial photograph”, thanks to which the camera starts photographing already after the shutter is pressed halfway. Fujifilm X-T3 is a milestone in terms of video registration. The material in 10-bit range of colors can be saved on SD cards in 4K with the speed of 60f/s and it can be watched on the devices connected to the camera by means of HDMI cable. Video can be saved in H.264/MPEG-4 AVC or in the newer format - H.265/HEVC. The bit rate during recording amounts to 200Mbps. At the same time, we can share the image on an external device. The data read speed has also increased which enables the reduction of the rolling shutter effect. Video can be also saved in F-Long and, after the software update announced for the end of the year, also in Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) – in one of the ITU-R BT.2100 standards. 4). Fujifilm X-T3 + XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS New noise-reduction algorithms of X-T3 compare two adjacent movie frames and, on the basis of their analysis, reduce disruptions. The minimum ISO value in F-Long and DR400% amounts to ISO 640. When it comes to the look, Fujifilm X-T3 is not much different than its predecessor, X-T2 - the body is made of magnesium and sealed. The upper knobs are now bigger and grooves made on them are deeper – the same with more accentuated buttons which significantly improves comfortable use. At the back, we will find a 3" LCD screen with the resolution of 1.04MP, the screen can be rotated in three directions and, contrary to its predecessors, is a touch one. The camera is equipped with an electronic viewfinder with the resolution of 3.69MP and the 0.75x zoom. The viewfinder delay is 0.005s and the refresh rate is 100f/s. The camera has two SD card slots, it is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth which enable data transfer to other devices. On the body we will also find a headphone connector and a USB-C connector so we will be able to connect, for instance, a microphone. 5). Fujifilm X-T3 + XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR + VG-XT3 Battery Grip The systemic news which are worth mentioning include for instance adding "monochromatic regulation" to the photosensitive film mode, which enables obtaining diverse color exposition. A novelty in the format is the Color Chrome effect, which ensures deeper color and richer color gradation during taking photographs of objects with high color saturation. Fujifilm X-T3 will appear on sale in a few days and it will be available in two color versions: silver and black. The camera's body will cost $1500 and the set of X-T3 + the XF 18 - 55 lens will cost $1900.
