Lumix G95 (also known as the G90 and G91 outside North America) is a successor of G85, which has become a synonym of a camera which combines compact size, advanced photography and film-making functions and affordable price. G95 is continuing this tradition and it additionally offers a more advanced ergonomics as well as advanced video functions, thanks to which it may become a very popular model among the film-making beginners. Panasonic Lumix G95 is equipped with the 20MP Live MOS sensor with the 5-axis stabilization system, which enables work within the ISO range of 200-25600. The camera makes it possible to take photographs with the maximum speed of 9f/s. 1). Panasonic Lumix G95 + Lumix G Vario 12-60 f/3.5-5.6 Power I.O.S. When it comes to the autofocus, the camera is equipped with the 49-point AF system based on phase-detection technology, Depth From Defocus, known from other models. The autofocus is supported by new algorithms which have also been used in latest S1 and S1R models and which are to improve work in low light, by offering the effectiveness of up to -4 EV. We also have the eye and face detection systems. 2). Panasonic Lumix G95 + Lumix G Vario 12-60 f/3.5-5.6 Power I.O.S. The camera offers above-average (for this segment) video functions. Although the general specification of the film mode basically remains unchanged (maximum resolution of 4K 30f/s, 100Mb/s, crop 1,25×), it is worth noting the default flat V-Log profile function, which should enable obtaining the dynamic range of up to 12 EV. In this case, it will be the 8-bit 4:2:0 save, but during work with an external recorder, we may achieve the 4:2:2 sampling. In addition, we will also get a possibility of recording Full HD films with the speed of up to 120f/s, thanks to which we may obtain attractive materials in slow motion. Typically, we will also have additional photography functions based on the film mode, such as 4K Photo, Post Focus or Focus Stacking. 3). Panasonic Lumix G95 + Lumix G Vario 12-60 f/3.5-5.6 Power I.O.S. Lumix G95 is a bit bigger and heavier than G85 and it weighs 536g. The camera's body is partially made of magnesium alloys and it is sealed. The camera is equipped with the 3'' rotating touch screen (1,240,000 points) and physical ISO, white balance and exposition compensation buttons, similarly to S1 and S1R models, which should enable faster and more convenient work. Besides that, it should also increase the number of available programmable buttons. When it comes to the viewfinder, it is still the same system with the resolution of 2,36MP. A battery grip, which will hold two additional batteries, can also be attached to the camera. 4). Panasonic Lumix G95 + Lumix G Vario 12-60 f/3.5-5.6 Power I.O.S.
