In this week’s episode, we discuss why you don't crop your photos enough and how you can fix it. Cropping is one of my favorite photo editing techniques. It gives you the ability to alter your composition after the fact, which is pretty cool if you think about it. But, many photographers don't use this incredible tool enough in my opinion. In this video, I'll review the three things I think about when deciding how best to crop a particular photos in order to create better visual impact. Welcome to BHT Hong Kong Neon. If you've been following me for a while, you know of my many travels and film photography projects in Hong Kong. I was recently interviewed by @TheCooph talking about my Hong Kong Neon project, and I was featured as the cover article for Silvergrain Classics Magazine from Germany, again featuring my neon project. I shot it entirely on @CineStillFilm 800T and various film cameras, but mostly with my @LeicaCameraUSA M7 and 28mm Summicron.

Get interesting portraits with off camera flash using TTL and a trigger on the camera. This is a very typical way for people to work if they're doing weddings or events. It's an urban strong light that looks really interesting, to a really soft to the side light. So there's a real variety here.
