Ideal for hobbyists and general photography enthusiasts, the EOS R7 is the quintessential camera to take your photography to the next level. It is a powerful camera choice for those seeking an upgrade to their travel and vacation photos or to capture life-long family memories while opening a new world of creative and professional possibilities. The EOS R10 is perfect for content creators looking for a camera option to capture high-quality action videos and images of sports, wildlife, and motorsports. As the market share leader for mirrorless cameras in the United States during Q1 of 20221, Canon looks to solidify their position with the addition of new offerings within the EOS R lineup. EOS R7 and EOS R10 provide enhanced video functions and accessories, such as the new multifunction shoe with EOS R7, while still maintaining a high-level ease of use. With a robust mirrorless system at their core, these cameras provide users with a powerful telephoto reach through both still image and video due to the 1.6x crop factor that comes with APS-C sensor cameras. In addition to its compact size and ease of use, the EOS R7 and EOS R10 also feature: 32 million pixels (EOS R7) and 24 million pixels (EOS R10), APS-C size image sensor Autofocus (AF): subject detection inherited from EOS R3 Up to 15 frames per second (FPS) mechanical shutter First Canon APS-C camera with up to 7.0 stops Coordinated Image Stabilization Dual memory card slots (EOS R7 only) Full width 4K video recording at 60p (EOS R7 only), 30p and 24p Record each clip over thirty (30) minutes2 Up to 30FPS with electronic shutter (EOS R7 only) Dust and moisture resistant (EOS R7 only) In-body image stabilization (EOS R7 only) Alongside the camera bodies, Canon will release new RF-S lenses – a series of RF-mount lenses that are optimized for the smaller APS-C sensor size of the new EOS R camera system. Marked as the RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lenses, these will be the standard zoom lenses for the EOS R7 and EOS R10 cameras. The RF-S 18-45mm provides an 18-45mm focal length, but users will experience a field of view equivalent to 29-72mm lens coverage on a full-frame camera. The RF-S18-150mm lens is a longer-range standard zoom, equivalent to 29-240mm lens coverage on a full frame. While ideal for the new EOS R10 and EOS R7 APS-C sized sensor bodies, these lenses can be used for any R-series camera. Members Martin Vronsky
Quote Canon has finally announced the much rumoured APS-C RF mount cameras, the EOS R10 and EOS R7 and we've had a chance to get some hands-on time with them. Check out our initial impressions and watch some of the highlights of our trip to Florida. Note that the two cameras were full production models, but the kit lenses were pre-production. 0:00 - Intro 1:19 - Wildlife sample images 2:02 - Sensors 3:07 - Design and controls 4:53 - Autofocus for wildlife 7:20 - Sports sample images 8:07 - Buffers 9:00 - Battery life 9:51 - Autofocus for sports 10:44 - Video performance 15:00 - Conclusion
Members Martin Vronsky
Quote The Canon EOS R system is expanding with the introduction of two APS-C cameras: the EOS R7 and EOS R10, which are equipped with the RF mount and are fully compatible with existing full-frame RF lenses. Along with these cameras come two new RF-S mount lenses, the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 and RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3. The Canon EOS R7 is equipped with a new newly developed 32.5MP APS-C sensor, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II tech, a maximum video recording rate of 4K at 60 fps, a slimmed down camera body and more. The EOS R10 is a smaller camera that has a 24MP APS-C sensor, Dual Pixel CMOS AF, 4K recording at up to 30 fps and does not have a 30-minute recording limit. The Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM is a compact zoom lens perfect or everyday use. The STM AF motor is smooth, fast, quiet, and is optimized for stills and video. Plus, the built-in Optical Image Stabilization system offers 4 stops of correction or 6 stops of Coordinated IS. The Canon RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens is a versatile lens for any situation. It is similar in feature set to the 18-45mm with built-in IS and an STM AF system. The stabilization on this longer zoom will provide up to 4.5 stops of correction on its own or up to 6.5 stops in Coordinated IS. 0:00 Introduction 0:46 Specs for Both Cameras 1:16 R7 Specs 2:57 R10 Specs 3:28 Body, Layout & Ergonomics 5:08 Final Thoughts

Members Martin Vronsky
Quote I've been shooting on the Canon EOS R7 for about a month. I think its probably my favorite option for an APS-C camera on the market right now. Canon have really done a nice job on this. The Sony a6600 and Fujifilm X-T4 are really nice options as well, but I think when you factor in the features vs price point - the R7 is tough to beat. This is my full review with image and video samples. 0:00 What's new in the Canon EOS R7? 0:58 Canon R7 Features 1:45 How good are Canon Mirrorless Cameras? 2:37 Canon R7 Sensor 3:10 Autofocus - maybe the best Canon has produced 3:56 High Speed Continuous Shooting 5:23 Image Quality on the R7 7:25 R7 Video Specs and Performance 8:43 Design and Handling 9:24 Best Lenses for the Canon R7 11:18 Rear Screen and EVF Resolution 11:34 Connections and Compatibility 11:47 Battery Life 12:03 Alternatives to the R7
