Canon's latest RF mount wide angle, the 10-20mm f/4 L IS USM is a doozy. Nearly half the size and substantially less expensive than the EF version, it also goes even wider! Find out how this little marvel performs on the streets of Calgary in this week's episode.

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing my hands-on review of the new Tamron 70-180mm f2.8 G2 lens for photography and video. I am using this lens on the Sony A7IV and I share 100% crops of the straight out of camera images so you can see all the details. I am also using the Sony 70-200mm f2.8 GMII lens for some comparison photos throughout the video. I have reviewed the Tamron 70-180mm f2.8 G1 lens before, but that was on the A7III so it's hard to conclude what the exact differences are. Let me know if you are interested in seeing another video comparing the G1 and G2 side by side.
This lens is on loan from Tamron, this is not sponsored. All thoughts and opinions are completely my own.

We love the new trend of ultra-wide to normal zooms, and the Tamron 17-50mm f/4 is the most recent example. Chris Niccolls has been shooting with the lens for a few weeks in Calgary and New York City, and he has some strong opinions.

The Tamron 17-50 f4 for Sony cameras is just about the perfect all around travel lens, but it does have a couple major issues that you need to know before you consider it. Let's break it down and see if this is a good lens for you to invest it. Breaking down image quality in both photo and video, I'll show low light examples and much more to see how sharp the Tamron 17-50 is, how well the auto focus performs and how well it holds up in some harsh Alaskan environments.

What is Foreshortening in Photography? In photography, foreshortening refers to a perspective technique that can be used to give the illusion that an object or subject is closer than it actually is, with reduced depth.

By using foreshortening, photographers aim to create images that seem to be moving towards the viewer, making them more captivating and visually appealing.

“Promptography” is what Berlin-based artist Boris Eldagsen calls his creative process. He inputs highly specific and deliberate text prompts into generative AI programs like DALL-E or Midjourney, and tweaks their outputs repeatedly to create thought-provoking photographs…or at least, what look like photographs. Senior video producer, Becca Farsace flies to Berlin to investigate how exactly Boris process works, how he’s fooled award shows, and what her final thoughts are on this new age of generative AI art. The new Fujifilm GF 55mm f/1.7 is the lens I’ve been waiting for since the GFX line was first announced and while it absolutely lives up to my expectations in some ways, there are a couple huge frustrations I had with the lens that thankfully have nothing to do with image quality.

Today's tutorial is all about how to fix blurry photos in Lightroom and Capture One. I thought I'd run through some really simple adjustments that you can apply to blurry images & help regain a bit of detail.
This tutorial also shows a comparison of sharpening photos in Lightroom vs sharpening photos in Capture One. I thought it might be interesting to see the final product in both programs!
    Hope you all enjoy.
